Hello friends! Today is my birthday! I couldn’t think of a better day than today to link up with Amy Lemon’s “Tell me More, Tell me More” Linky party! And because I’m the new blogger on the block, this is a great way to introduce myself! So let’s get down to it…and I will start by introducing you to the two most important people in my life:
1. I have an amazing boyfriend named Justin. We met online! He’s tall, dark, and handsome. <3 We have been together for 3 1/2 years, and *gasp* are not married yet! (To the apparent horror of our friends and family). All in good time…
2. Justin and I have an almost 2 year old daughter named Mailee (pronounced My-lee, it’s Hawaiian). She was a crazy surprise, and her arrival at 4 weeks premature was a surprise as well. I may wear rose-colored-mommy glasses, but I truly think she is the most beautiful little girl in the world.
3. I was born in San Jose, CA, but have lived in Idaho since I was 7. I also graduated from the University of Idaho in 2005. My boyfriend Justin graduated from Boise State where he played football, and our two schools are arch rivals. Go Vandals!
4. Along with teaching and blogging, I also own two other businesses. I am an entrepreneur down to my bones, and I never have less then 5 projects going on at once!
5. I am obsessed with survival stories, and the show I Shouldn’t be Alive. Have you ever watched it? It is CRAZY what these people go through. I think about it every time I’m working hard at something and feel like giving up. I have a dream of writing a novel one day about someone ..surviving..something (the details are being worked out 😉

I always think about what some of my kiddos go through and it reminds me how blessed I am and also how important my job is. =)

I used to watch ALL of those survivor shows too!!!! I just can’t do it anymore since I had my daughter. Some of those people’s stories are TRULY terrifying. And your other two businesses look fantastic–I checked out the websites! 😉 I’m amazed you are able to balance everything, especially with your adorable little one!! I have a 2.5 year old little girl and WOW, it’s exhausting!!! 😀

I agree, it is exhausting! I don’t know yet for sure, but I’m hoping to be teaching part-time this school year (online with K12, I’ll be posting about this soon) which will give me time to devote to all of my other ‘projects’, and my family!
